About the Presenter

Paula Arturo is a lawyer, translator, and professor of law. During a career spanning more than 20 years, she has worked with some of the biggest names in the legal profession, including several Nobel Prize laureates and internationally renowned jurists. She has also been an independent lawyer-linguist for the United Nations Universal Periodic Review of several Latin American states.

Paula is currently a linguistic consultant at Marval O’Farrell Mairal and a director of Translating Lawyers Academy, an online training organization that helps legal translators hone their writing and translation skills.

She is a founding member and current administrator of ATA's Law Division and a member of the Public Policies Forum of the Supreme Court of Argentina.
