This is the intensive, interactive interpreting workshop you've been looking for! In this four-hour training session, interpreter Andy Gillies will explain the main elements of a note-taking system for long consecutive interpreting. You'll examine the major components of the system, including links, symbols, and "position as information"; learn how structures in notes support analysis, recall, and presentation skills; and discover ways to learn and practice in isolation.
The workshop will consist of two, two-hour sessions with a one-hour break in between.
